If you are a couple looking for a bit more space and privacy. 2 couples, or group of 4 adult family or friends, then our pet friendly lodge may be perfect for you.
As dog lovers ourselves, it seemed natural to create a dog-friendly cabin so that you can enjoy a holiday or short break with the whole family. Furry members included!
One of our Premium 2-bedroom Woodland Lodges (Ben Y Vrackie) is ready to welcome you! And what’s more, there’s a discount if you are just a solo traveller or a couple just needing one bedroom.
With lots of fabulous walks nearby from low-level riverside strolls, circular loch routes, moderate hill walks to local munros you have a wealth of choices of routes to choose from.
We can provide the following – and just let us know if you need anything else: doggie towels for drying down after a swim or a muddy walk. The garden is an enclosed fenced garden. Stainless steel food and drinks bowls. Even if you’ve forgotten your dog bed – we’ve got that covered too!
Ben Y Vrackie is one of our larger lodge types and has a spacious open plan living room/dining/kitchen with shower room and two bedrooms for adults – one bedroom has a super-king bed the other twin beds, all are super-comfy. There’s a cosy wood burner in the lounge and central heating throughout.
Outside there’s a mix of patio deck, gravel and grass and the most amazing views across farmland to hills and mountains beyond. Our location is stunning and you’ll really feel close to nature.
We’d love to welcome you to our special place in Perthshire and if there’s anything that we can do to assist you whilst you are here we are on hand.
- Keep your dog on a lead whilst on the property grounds in respect to other guests.
- Do not leave your dog unattended in the property at any time
- Prevent your dog from damaging the furnishings
- Pick up your dog's poop
- Do not allow your dog on any of the furniture.
- Please don't let your dog bark non stop
Please note that if you want to book for just 1 or 2 people you will received a discount on the full price – if this is the case the second bedroom will be locked off and will not be available to use, making it a 1 bedroom Premium Woodland Lodge.
If you require 2 bedrooms please book for 4 adults, regardless of your numbers. Max 4 adults in this lodge.
2 dogs maximum in the lodge, each dog is £25 per stay.
We had a few days in a one-bed lodge, idea was to ‘get away from it all’ Enough privacy to do just that, sit back, relax, enjoy the sun and the stunning views around Pitlochry. Andy was very helpful, as was Jane. Everything you are likely to need was there for you, clean and tidy too. Have told a few friends of our experience… all very positive. Many thanks – hope to return.

Perfect get away spot 5 of 5 stars Just back from our second stay in Kinnaird – beautiful well equipped lodges – perfect for a weekend away from the noise! They offer stunning views of the sur- rounding landscape and are in a perfect location for a bit of sight seeing and hiking. Jane and Andy are very welcoming – perfect hosts.

myself and my husband are just back today from Kinnaird, we were looking for a relaxing weekend and some peace and quiet and that’s what we got as soon as you walk into your lodge you know you made the right choice, 10/10 for cleanliness,10/10 for comfort,10/10 for the hosts Andy and Jane and all the personal touches about the place and the log fire is easy to use and clean we would be back for a return visit, and I would highly recommend these lodges for a getaway

The perfect location for a relaxing holiday, a romantic hideaway or a memora- ble honeymoon. These 4-star quality lodges have one bedroom with su- per-comfy beds (Mattresses are luxury pocket-sprung with generous memory foam and bamboo layer – they are seriously comfy)!
Off the bedroom is an en-suite shower room with a large shower cubicle. The spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is extremely well equipped and has picture windows overlooking amazing views.
The living room features patio doors opening onto a large decked area with re- laxing high-quality rattan furniture and large charcoal BBQ with smoker (May-Oct)
These lodges enjoy a superb view over fields to hills and mountains beyond. The perfect location for a memorable break.
Our 4-star quality 1 or 2 bedroom Woodland Lodges have a large main bedroom with super-comfy super-king sized bed, a second bedroom with a double bed, a modern kitchen and spacious open plan living area, including a lounge and a dining area.
Double patio doors lead to a spacious deck with high-quality rattan lounging and dining furniture, large charcoal BBQ with smoker (May-Oct).
The views are spectacular!
